This 2.8m long Dinesen Douglas Fir sideboard was made to compliment our clients’ extension which features Dinesen flooring and kitchen.

 

The sideboard was made using excess wood from the project and lightened with Lye before oiling. Re-sawing and calibrating the Dinesen into an 8mm veneer allowed us to bookmatch the fronts, creating the mirrored horizontal grain across the piece.
